Christmas Popcorn Crunch (Or anytime of the year)

I make this year round…..a yummy snack and much cheaper than buying store bought snacks!!!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bowl to pour your popcorn in.
  • 1 extra large bowl to mix in ( I have a huge plastic bowl) to mix in.
  • Parchment paper ( lay 2 lengths side by side on your counter to pour the mixture on.)
  • 1 bag of microwave Tender White Orville Redenbacher popcorn
  • 1/2 bag (12 oz Vanilla Candy melts per bag of popcorn .
  • 1 ½ cups of mini pretzels (break up or leave whole)
  • 1 ½ cup of M&M’s. (Christmas time use the green and red. I keep a large tub of M&M’s from Sams and just pour any amount I want.
  • Christmas sprinkles.

Instructions:

  • I pop 2 bags of popcorn and have the 2nd bag on standby.
  • Toss in your M&Ms and pretzels.
  • Melt your candy melts (according to the package). Drizzle 1/2 over the mixture, stirring gently…. (I use 2 plastic spoons and gently toss).
  • Drizzle remaining and toss less this time so your sprinkles will stick.
  • Quickly pour onto the parchment paper and shake sprinkles over.
  • Leave until candy melts have set and hardened.
  • Break up and store in airtight containers.
  • For Christmas I bagged in plastic Christmas bags for gifts.
